May 30

Arggh the month of May is already ending and June is already knocking on the door. You know what that means in the Philippines, right?...A fresh start of the another SCHOOL YEAR.

Mom woke Sami and I around 9 am. We were woken early because the family car is scheduled for oil change in a Toyota Caravan in SBMA. Our reserved time was 11:00 am.
Sami and I ate 2 burger patties each and those cute little potatoes.
The water was especially cold when we bathe, early morning in the eve of a rainy month really gives you water straight from the Arctic.

I slept, actually just pretend sleep, on our way to the caravan. Mom made a few stops on her customers' houses on the way. We arrived around 11 not too early or too late, give or take 5 to 10 minutes. We waited at the nearest convenience store for the oil change and machine car wash-whatever that means. As we sat there waiting, I took the time to read the last two remaining chapters of the Wind-up Bird Chronicle.
All the arrangements were done after an hour and a half.
We went to Harbor Point afterwards.

We ate lunch at Pepper Lunch. The place was basically east meets west because of the Japanese cuisine mingled with almost a wide selection of different style of cooked steak.
The mooyan curry held by my sister, this'll restore 200 life points
When we finished eating, mom, Sami and I went to National Bookstore to buy new books.
Mom bought The Valkyries by Paulo Coelho (but she was desperate to find a copy of the Alchemist), Sami and I bought The Elephant Vanishes by Haruki Murakami. I became strangely addicted to his work partly because he's Japanese and partly, also, because The Wind-up Bird triggered my absolute attention to read his works.
forced perspective can be difficult sometimes
Mom also bought me a new optical mouse for a price that seems lower than normal. It's not a gaming mouse so that's understandable, what's more it's not cordless so yeah you get my point.
We went to SM Olongapo afterwards to buy my nephew some baby food.

While I strolled around the National Bookstore in SM-searching for Bram Stok
er's Dracula and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho-I didn't know mom was serious when she said she'd buy a month's supply of Gerber baby food and juice.
The shopping bag must've weighed more than 8 pounds.

We went to San Roque chapel to visit the Adoration Chapel. Afterwards, we went home.

We arrived at home around 6 pm. 2 blackouts occurred, the first one was longer than the 2nd but both were annoying and uncalled for.
I played a little Circle of the Moon before going in the net again. I started Air just an hour ago and also I've decided to start Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami immediately after I post this entry.
Well then, that's all for today.
