June 4 + 5

Alright, first of all I apologize for not posting any entry yesterday.
I have a good reason...a very good reason in fact.
-We were busy for the registration. Anyway I'll elaborate on this below in three parts, much like the Hobbit Film Trilogy.

Part 1- A (very) expected journey

Sami and I began our June 4 very early because of the continuation of the online registration.
The registration started around 9 am. Unlike yesterday which was full of unwanted but inevitable problems due to the great mass of people accessing the site, the registration that morning went smoothly. If I wanted to, I could've finalized my schedule but I wanted to cancel my English 2 subject and replace it with NASC 2.
I had 2 choices of sections in NASC 2. One is every Tuesday and Thursday 8:30-10:00 am and the other is every Wednesday and Friday 4-5:30 pm.
The first still had 80 free slots which was good but too good. If ever I enlisted on that section, I would've been in trouble of the section being dissolved. So out of desperation, I enlisted on the 2nd option cancelling my English 2.
I waited for another 30 minutes to enlist on an NSTP 1 section, after that I finalized it and my mom and I agreed to travel to UPLB on the early morning of June 5.

The day went on quite fast. I slept through the afternoon hoping to get the energy that I need on June 5.
We left Castillejos around 2:00 am.

Part 2: The Desolation of Students

We arrived at Manila around 6 am and wasted no time in transferring to the 2nd bus going to Los Banos.
We arrived in Los Banos around 8 am. Sami, mom and I ate breakfast at Chowking.
After breakfast, I went to the OCS of my college which is College of Arts and Sciences.
To my surprise, there was no line...not even a single long line of students waiting for their Form 5's to be distributed.
When the Student Assistants got into their positions, they announced that the distribution of Form 5's will not be until this afternoon. Tired and sleepy, I decided to go back to my dorm and sleep. Along the way, mom wanted to go to the Church to pray the novena. Sami and I went with her as she prayed.
We returned to the dorm around 8:30, we slept until 12:30 and the three of us went to the OCS again to get updates about the distribution of the Form 5's.
We were directed to the back of the College Sec. and there we were given roll numbers. My number was B 108.
The numbers 108 to 111 were immediately called after lunch time and I got my Form 5.
Mom payed my tuition at the Old Admin Building and we went to the Office of the University Registrar to get my Form 5 stamped and get my class cards.

We left UPLB around 2 pm.

Part 3: There and Back Again

Since we have a lot of time left, the three of us made a pit stop at SM Megamall. We ate lunch at Racks (man their steaks and chicken are still very delicious, and the service crew were all friendly and amazing). After eating at Racks, we went to a Guess Watch store to get my mom's wristwatch fixed.
Sami and I strolled around on that floor while waiting for the watch to get fixed.

We were on the fifth floor of SM Megamall, the area was very nostalgic as that place is where Ozine Fest's are usually held. I've been involved in Anime Conventions for 3 years now and I'm really proud of all the people involved in those events.

Anyway, Sami and I were expecting to find the antique shops in the Mall. SM Megamall is unique to the other SM's because they have one floor dedicated to Antiques, paintings and Philippine Culture (turns out it was the 4th floor).
We went back to mom to find that it's going to take another hour for the watch to get fixed. We agreed to stroll around the mall for the time being. Mom went to Mango and Guess, while Sami and I went to Comic Quest and Comic Alley. We were given 1000 pesos of spending money, Sami and I spent it on a Vanguard starter deck, one booster pack and 2 Vocaloid 02 posters.

The Comic Alley in SM Megamall was obviously bigger than all the other Comic Alleys around the Philippines. They even have products that are exclusive to their store such as anime figurines that far exceed the anime limit of other stores. They even have a Hakurei Reimu display figure from the Touhou series priced at 1450 pesos... but my observation in their figurines made me to the realization that they are still bootlegs.
They also have Magic The Gathering cards, Yu-Gi-Oh cards and Vanguard cards.

We went back to the Guess Watch store to pick-up my mom's watch. After pick-up we went to J.CO donuts, but it wasn't easy. It took us around an hour or so to finally find the store. It was outside of the other building, if we understood that deep enough we would've found it easily but we had a bad sense of direction at that time due to fatigue.
My mom bought 2 dozens of J.CO donuts and we went on our way.

We didn't know what bus to get on to that will take us to the Victory Terminal. Once bus conductor was kind enough to give us instructions, and we also happen to board his bus. The trip going to the terminal wasn't all too relaxing. There was at one point in the road where the bus had a hard time going up a slope because of all the people inside. When the bus pushed through, the smell of burnt rubber spread out in the back area.
We got off the bus around 8:10 pm and we went to the Victory Terminal via the overpass which was under a railroad.
Mom got us tickets to the 8:30 pm bus going to Olongapo. While waiting for the bus to depart, I played Aria of Sorrow.
The bus departed around 8:40, we arrived at Olongapo around 12:30 or so. We got on a jeep going to San Marcelino right away and around 1 am we arrived home.
Thus ending our Registration Journey. All we're waiting for now is the actual start of the University's Academic Year 2013-2014.
Slash of Silver Wold trial deck complete with rule book, 50 cards and playing mat
*Regarding my immediate purchase of a Cardfight Vanguard deck

I got hooked up in the anime at first...mainly because of Aichi's little sister Emi Sendou and Misaki Tokura.
It's a petty reason for some. Why!? is being a lolicon weird? Besides, Misaki balances Emi's childish side, anyway.
Next, of course, is the main game play. Their battle calls such as, in the English dub, "I ride (this card)" or "I stand and Draw"
it's a pretty cool battle cry than Yu-gi oh's Draw!, Attack!, or I set to Deefense!
what's more, the unique battle system caught me in after a few episodes...and they hold Vanguard tournaments in Cosplay Conventions so what's not to love?
Besides, since the game and anime has been around for quite some time now, I feel like an underdog for the time being. Who knows, maybe I'll get the Psy Qualia like Aichi or befired someone like Misaki Tokura.
Anyway, my first choice of deck is Misaki's Oracle Think Tank, which was not available so I picked out Slash of Silver Wolf. I'll study the game before I sleep.
Anyways, good night (or good whatever time of day it is in wherever the readers' country are)
