July 11, 2013

Since the form of how I compose my entries for each day seems to be getting boring (even with my fantasized versions) I'm going to divide the day into 3 parts namely Morning, Day and Night.
Morning will be the hours between the time I get out of bed and before 11 am.
Day will be the hours starting from 11 am to 6 pm.
And Night will be the hours from 7 to the time I post my entries.

I'm doing this because I need to filter out some of my recurring unnecessary information and to ease myself of too much redundancy.

Morning:

My alarm woke me up but I refused to get out of bed. I didn't know why but the time I slept last night was definitely my normal time yet I was still feeling tired for the whole morning.
I ate 3 oreo cookies for my light breakfast and washed my face to activate my consciousness. I waited at the loading and unloading station for the jeeps that rounds the campus for about 5 minutes before a jeep with a vacant front passenger seat arrived.
That marked my first time riding a jeep at the front passenger's seat in the campus.

As usual, I'm always the last to get off the jeep because most of the people who rides the "Kaliwa" jeep get off at either CEAT or ANIMAL (which is the jargon for the college of Veterinary Medicine).

Our PE 2 session today was held at Baker Hall.
Here's the following activities that we did:

- 5 laps around the outer layer of the court
- unguided warm-up and stretches
- Running drills (knee runs, step-hop, kick-run, skip-run...those are not the actual names, I just named them after what I believe we did at the time)
- 50 meter fast jog
- 50 meter fast run/sprint, and finally
- Core Buildup set A

Somehow, set A seemed to have been more difficult for me to execute this time around compared to 2 weeks ago. Anyways, as the usual challenge for myself, I refrained from taking a jeep back to my apartment and walked all the way back instead.

For the compliment of my light breakfast earlier, I ate the leftovers of my fried rice and tuna flakes in vegetable oil. I ate while surfing the net.
I decided to start Neon Genesis Evangelion RE:Mastered and Monogatari series season 2, Nekomonogatari Arc today.

Short haired Hanekawa just stole my heart:

Around 10:30 before going to the ICS, I dropped by at the laundry place next door to get half of my laundry this week reserved.
I proceeded, then, to the ICS.

Day:

Here's a rough (and not exactly) outline of the subjects and what we did during that time.

CMSC 21 - After my 2 day streak of staying active in the class (which was last week), I again fought hard with my drifting consciousness. I find it really hard to stay awake straight for the whole hour of the lecture session. And my the head gets hurt every time I try to force my eyes to open. It's like my eyelids were lifting heavy weights every lecture session.

CMSC 57- Our cute lab instructor decided to sit in this session to observe the subjects main lecturer and see the points in the topic that we, students, find it hard to understand.
The instructor seemed to be in a good mood for the whole session and his teaching style as well as overall performance greatly improved compared to the previous semester (of course, I say all of these in the point of view of a student).

MATH 27- Our instructor finished the last topic of unit 1 this session. It was hard to keep up even if she slowed down her teaching pace for us to catch up but to no avail. The concept of the last topic is was already taught to us last year but I find it hard to recall and re-apply the same concepts to the last topic. But, at least, I didn't fall asleep.

-----30 minute break-----
During my 30 minute break, I joined my other group-mates in Hum 1 to watch the final output of our video project. The overall duration was around 12 minutes. The team responsible for editing major and minor technical points in the video did a great job. The actors and actresses also gave a nice performance.
Seeing the story and script that I made come to life really felt great but, of course, it's not time to celebrate yet because we are still awaiting the comments of the critics.

HUM 1- After weeks of development, the software engineer/student who worked on the Randomizer (which the author named RandPicker or something like that) was finally employed to the recitation system of our professor.
The software worked like a wonder and as our professor exactly and I quote "...the randomizer is working wonders for us" I say it really did.
The randomizer
picked out 10 students out of 164 at a time. Once picked, in my understanding, they won't be picked again.
And whether you like it or not, once your picture and name is flashed on the screen, you will recite by voicing out your opinions on the question of interest at the moment you are called.

STAT 1- We had a Quiz-con at the start of our lab session. The member who was absent last week in our group finally showed up. And she was really annoying. I can't begin to describe just how annoying she was because just thinking of her and her attitude infuriates me.
Our group got the lowest score in the quiz con but I didn't complain because I was, at least, able to contribute some of the dry knowledge that I have in statistics at that time.

Our exercise, which was the 3rd one, was the last exercise for the part of descriptive statistics.
Next exercise will be abut the counting principles and overall, Inferential statistics.
I "finished" my exercise a few minutes before the time.
When I left the room, I went straight to the church to pray, then went back to the apartment.

Night

I've been in front of my laptop since getting back. I ate a bowl of noodles with a can of sausages for dinner. I forgot to put the add-ons for my noodles so I'll just save them for more add-ons on another bowl of noodles.

I watched Sora no Otoshimono Forte and Mahou Sensei Negima this evening.
Well then, I'm feeling drowsy now. Looks like my body is finally feeling the toll of this tiring day.
Goodnight!
