Morning:
My morning pretty much started nicely. I woke up not feeling tired at all and I finished all my early morning tasks under the normal time.
The lecture hall was already open when I got to the venue of my STAT 1 class. Usual STAT lecture followed. I managed to score at least half on the quiz.
There was a drizzle on my way back to the apartment but it didn't last long.
I spent my break time watching Robotics;Notes.
Day:
The lecture hall 4 of the ICS building was already open when I arrived but the lights were off and no one was in yet. I waited outside for someone to go in first before I enter myself. When a few of my classmates began meeting up outside, one brave soul entered and we all followed suit.
I usually don't have the motivation to last a full 3 hours during lab sessions but because our lab instructor is a cute, smart and kind person, I feel invigorated just by the sight of her face and the sound of her voice.
She went through the topics that we're going to have an exercise about for less than an hour than she paired the class, boy to girl (there's at least 1 trio).
My partner's attitude was not as pleasing as my previous ones. She's not very polite (despite being a girl). And even if we live in a world partly occupied by douchebags, I still look for politeness in a person. If a person is not polite at the slightest then all we can be are people who see their faces as nthing more but familiar.
We were able to finish the exercise an hour early, mainly due to her being impatient about leaving the lecture hall. When we passed our answer sheet I went on my way I couldn't care less about where she went.
I took the legendary Dirt Road of the campus to the church and prayed for a short while.
Afterwards, I went to JRL bookstore and school supply shop to buy my own copy of The Calculus 7 (TC7) by renowned mathematician, Louis Leithold.
The textbook's weight is almost the same as its price. For a "low price edition" it sure does cost a fortune (at least for a student like me), 765 PhP.
I could've borrowed a copy from the library but a permanent one is always better than a borrowed one (except for something illegal or negative).
Here's a picture of the book (mainly because I can't think of any photo to post for this entry):
The book has been in stock for quite some time now but still the fresh smell of newly opened paperbacks are still there...ahh that smell.
I spent my 2 and a half hour break watching Robotics;Notes and lamenting to the world about what kind of person forgives a sinful, despicable, loathsome piece of I don't know what entity. My mom is not just a human, she's capable of different things. But it's an obvious giveaway that she's an angel...or probably only to a few select people.
Though I wonder if this angel knows how to pick the right decision.
I ate breaded quail eggs when I arrived at the IBS then I went inside the lecture hall.
We had a long video presentation about the planets in the solar system. My mind was only partially active because...well it was boring.
The last 30 minutes was dedicated for an even more boring lecture by the lecturer.
Night:
Here in the Philippines, whether the sun is up or not 6 pm is nighttime (I think that concept is universal, isn't it?).
I decided to post early because I have loads of assignments on my desk and I need to complete all of them by 9 pm.
Well then, if I still have time I might drop by later.
So for now, good(whatever time of day it is) to you.
Hi! :)
