A Merry Afternoon

I greet all of you readers a merry afternoon.

There's really need to but the mere mention of it is a likely reminder to all of you that I am not part of the Allegiance of Diligent bloggers. It's been almost a week since my last post and for that I apologize.

It seems that I've enjoyed the long weekend too much that I neglected my obligations in my blog. It has been almost 3 months since I last felt the warmth of home so I suppose that is a valid excuse for not posting for a while. If that's not enough of a reason here's another one, the home internet connection degraded from its prime speed.

The long weekend, which was eventually lengthened, was originally supposed to span from August 17 (Saturday) to August 19 (Monday) and again on August 21 (Wednesday) but due to bad weather that I dare not to explain further, the long weekend extended from August 17 to August 26. If I had known that that would have been the case, I would have went home early. The final announcement was made last Wednesday afternoon and so I went home Thursday afternoon.

I, again, enjoyed the quality of food cooked by my grandmother and her assistant firsthand. I also got to play with my nephew for a few days.
On Sunday we celebrated (again) my nephew's birthday. It was celebrated twice because I wasn't present the first time around. Not to be selfish, of course, all of these were already planned by the authorized personnel (which is to say my mother and grandmother).

I also got to download Kampfer and a few movies. If the home internet hadn't slowed down, I would've downloaded at least 2 anime series and a few more movies. But I wasn't in any real position to complain...still I did.

Mom and I returned to UP Los Banos last Monday. We left Castillejos around 10:30 am and arrived at my dorm around 4 pm.
We were lucky to have rode an express Victory Liner bus bound for Cubao. The passengers were only a few and the seats were amazing. It's like the business class of Buses!

Anyways, yesterday was my adjustment day. I was still not in the mood to get back on my studies but I have to and more importantly, I should want to.
Mom left for Castillejos earlier today and arrived there a few hours ago.

Despite the title of this entry, it's not exactly afternoon here. It's already 11 minutes passed 6.
Well then, I hope you find this post entertaining...
OH YEAH! I've also began reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo. It took me quite a while to find a copy of that book. Of course, we could have bought it online, but waiting for the package to arrive is just irritating.
The feeling of picking it out from the shelf and buying it yourself at the counter is part of the reading experience...at least that's how I put it.

Now then, time for dinner. I have to study STAT 1 again because our twice postponed exam is now scheduled this Friday.
