It seems like it's becoming my tradition to combine my Saturdays and Sundays in one post. Well not that it really bothers me, I do hope I'm not think of as a lazy a$$ because of that.
Anyway here's a perfectly normal post for yesterday and today.
August 3, 2013
My day started pretty well. The face of my Hinata greeted me with a smile as bright sun hanging up in the sky (figuratively, of course). I bought my breakfast at Chowking and also treated myself with a sundae from the recently re-opened McDonald's.
I spent the time after breakfast watching Usagi Drop and Twin Spica.
*Oh yeah! I guess I haven't clearly said this but I am a big fan of Yaginuma Kou's Futatsu no Spica. But ever since the time I started reading the manga, it's been stuck in Chapter 29 and there has been no updated after that. I have read the summary of each volume in wikipedia, and I tell you IT GAVE ME THE FEELS.
I really liked the story, setting, characters and pacing of Twin Spica. The manga's lonely, hopeful and nostalgic design never fails to amaze me. But still, even now that I already know the direction of the story and how it ended I am still really eager to read the manga.
Also, if you're not yet convinced on how much I love Twin Spica, I should tell you that it was one of the two stories that made me like astronomy and it even made me decided that I want to be, as Asumi would have put it, a Rocket Driver when I grow up.

My mom arrived around 2 in the afternoon. Her luggage this week was really heavy containing foods cooked by my grandmother, canned goods, my Canon EOS 1100D whom I lovingly call Neon, and also my new astronomical laser pointer bought my aunt.
We went to mass around 5:30 and afterwards ate at one of the nicest cafe's in Vega Center. After dinner, we did our groceries at Savemore then went back home.
I tried out my new laser pointer at some of the cats in the compound but ultimately ended up with this neko:
August 4
I started the day with a group meeting with my fellow NSTP 1 group mates. Even though we were 22 in the group only 4 showed up..our acting leader was really disappointed. Still, we did enjoy our practice session, singing to whatever music we could set our minds to as we watched young meat moving here and there preparing themselves to take the UPCAT.
I forgot to mention that the UPCAT 2013 was held yesterday and earlier this day. The university was filled with a lot of unfamiliar faces waiting to take on the challenge of UPCAT. I do hope that a lot of kind, polite and hardworking and, of course, deserving students enter UPLB.
I got back to my apartment around 1 pm. There I spent the afternoon studying lightly for my exam in CMSC 21 on Monday.
Around that time, I also came around starting another fantasy light novel which draws a little inspiration from BlazBlue.
Mom and I went out around 5:30 pm. We first visited the church, then went to Savemore to buy a couple of items we forgot yesterday.
She also treated me to some nikuman (pork bun) from Chowking.
We got back to the apartment around 6:30 pm.
We prayed the rosary before eating. After dinner, I studied for a while, then went back on to the cyberworld.
I plan to finish Usagi Drop early so that I could start another action packed anime
but really, Usagi Drop might just make it to my top 10 this year because of its heartwarming story.
Well then, goodnight from my place.
