Morning:
I woke up 15 minutes earlier than my usual time. I had to do a few things before eating breakfast.
The sun was gleaming today but still its bright rays couldn't penetrate the still darkness inside the lecture halls.
The news got to me that the University was out of power since last night (power was restored later this afternoon).
Today was our last NSTP session before the midterm exam and separation from the common module.
Since there were no electricity at that time, a few groups weren't able to present their works for the integration period. Our group was last to perform, though, it wasn't as good as our previous presentations. I can't blame our leader, actually he was the main reason we even have something to present. He worked the hardest among the members of the group...and I speak for the rest, some of us were all just free riders. Does nothing, but expects something.
I also note the activity before the integration period.
We brought the following cut-outs to the class: hand mirror, bag, light bulb, heart and star. The activity was about writing the name of the person who corresponds to each indicated meaning of each shape and writing a short message for that person.
Here are the meanings for each shape:
Heart: person who you became close to in NSTP
bag: person who you want to send a special message to
mirror: person who has the reflection of a true patriot
light bulb: person who always have bright ideas
star: person who's energetic and fun to play with
I gave most of the shapes to our group leader and one to my batch mate from high school.
My friend and bloc-mate gave me a heart. I got a little guilty that I didn't gave him the heart shape as well.
Yes, I was happy to know that he considers me a great friend. But the reason I didn't give him the heart shape was because I already consider him a close friend since even before NSTP. (I wrote this to get the guilt of my chest). But really, he is a great friend.
After the NSTP session, mom and I ate lunch at McDonald's.
Both of us tried the Pie Mcflurry dessert where you will mix the apple pie to the mcflurry. The end result was definitely delicious.
After lunch, we went to Goldilocks to buy apple-raisin bread, then went to the church.
Mom left for Castillejos around 2 pm.
I spent the afternoon finishing my MATH 27 assignment which almost took me ages if it wasn't for me keeping my patience up.
I also studied CMSC 21 intensely because our exams will be tomorrow and I really need to and have to pass the exam.
My mom just e-mailed me that she was already near our house. Her travel was quite long... almost 7 hours.
Well then, I plan to sleep early today, so goodnight!
