Here, there and somewhere else

It's been almost a week since the start of my semester vacation and so much has already happened both indoors and outdoors.
Today is the barangay elections in our country, while it's not that grand as the senatorial or presidential elections uproars here and there within towns and cities are inevitable.

Yesterday we went to The Divine Mercy Shrine for our annual (sometimes biannual) visit. Not much has changed in my view point. It's still as grand as ever.
What I enjoy the most in the Shrine are the jolly and energetic priests who leads the mass. It's not often I get to attend mass with a priest that is lively and strangely euphoric while still maintaining their religious superiority.
After the mass we went to the souvenir shop, new products were for sale along with their signature statues and rosaries.
The tomb of Jesus Christ was our last stop at the Shrine.

Our next stop was at Marquee Mall.
The entree' servings that we had for lunch at The Old Spaghetti House were as unfair as their respective price tags. There wasn't anything absolutely unique in their menu and even if there was it'd probably more rice (or mashed potato) than the listed item itself.

It's been a more than a year since my last time being in Marquee. I didn't notice anything new though, except the only disappointing replacement of the Crepe stall under the escalator. It's the only time I could ever lure someone like Biri Biri near me.
The game stores (the names of the stores were all locals) were like developers and programmers in combat. One side sells original games for most of the latest consoles with price tags that soars the sky, and one side offers three games for a 100 pesos download...provided the console has a CFW.

A couple of late issues of my preferred anime magazines were at the magazine stand of National Bookstore. It's not that often I get to see those magazines sitting pretty on racks lying in wait to be picked up. But I don't think National Bookstore is going anywhere with the books that they have.
They have a lot of books, but none which gives readers a wide selection. Yes, they have the latest books, the classics, reference books and children's books...actually it's the same copies in every branch.
The best choice of picking out good reads (and even enjoying the process) is at Fully Booked.

In my quests for experience indoors (mostly in front of my laptop) I enjoyed watching the anime adaptation of Danganronpa. I don't know why it didn't garner much attention as the anime from the previous season but the adaptation is definitely one of the best this year. It remained faithful (perhaps too much) on the game, and because of that I'm playing it again. It doesn't get boring.
All I'm hoping for next is an adaptation of Super Danganronpa 2.

Next anime on my list are Baccano and Shingetsutan Tsukihime.
And next stop on our vacation would probably be at Olongapo City tomorrow and the day after.
