Yesterday my relatives came to pick my mom and me up from Los Banos to finally start my sem break.
My Tuesday (yesterday) started at 9 am and ended around 3:45 am.
The first few hours was spent playing with my nephew. From the time I visited our home last August to now was a huge difference in terms of his growth. He can now walk (wobbles a little) fast without help.
His motor skills developed first before his oral skills. He enjoyed playing a lot with my Nyanko-sensei stuff toy.
Before leaving the university, my mom hoped to accomplish a request from one of her friends. It required us to go to the National Crop Protection Center (NCPC) which was much farther off than the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI). By car, it took us about 15 minutes from my apartment to the building.
*side note
The NCPC's exterior really looks like a building fit for a horror story. Starting from the mossy (or was it?) gate to the pond overgrown with lily pads and waterlily to the building itself, paired with the dark atmosphere of the area compared to the other near buildings, NCPC is pretty much an eerie place to unknowing people.
The inside wasn't any different as it was empty and dominated by piercing silence. After a few steps from the doors, my mom finally found what she was searching for while I, on the other hand, explored the eerie building a bit.
It was smaller than how it looked from the outside, but maybe it's because most of the rooms are locked.
After NCPC, we finally went on our way to SM Megamall.
* end of side note
We arrived at SM Megamall around 3 pm.
First thing we did was eat lunch at Chili's. The staff at the restaurant were all friendly and bubbly as they freely played with my nephew. Around those hours, he was the center of attraction of most of the staff.
After lunch, I temporarily bid my Dell goodbye to the technician of Dell at the mall. Repairs would sadly cost at least 4 000 to 13 000.
The last few stops we made was at Comic Alley and Proline Sports Center.
At Comic Alley, I spotted a complete Scouting Legion Cosplay set (sadly doesn't include the 3DMG). Their biggest size was XL but unfortunately it doesn't fit me. The staff at the anime specialty store informed us that they will try to order a 3XL of the same set with the same price. They will contact us sometime this sem break if there will be one available.
The set costs 5 000 and includes the pants, jacket, inner belts, inner shirt, shin guard and waist guard.
Our last stop (before returning the wheelchair that my mom rented) was at Proline Sports Center. Prior to that we made stops at other sports shop canvassing for a dartboard. We ultimately ended up with Proline because all of the previous sports house offered the same dartboard. And so with the money I had left from the previous semester (with a big help from my mom) I bought the one which costs 1 250.
I also bought a set of dart pins of the same brand (Robson).
We arrived home around 12:30 am. I simply surfed the net until 3:30 am.
I'll disclose more photos in a while. Gotta eat breakfast.
Ahh that wonderful smell of home.

Nananananana Fatman! I also bought, out of impulse, a batman mask and cape at Filbars...WHERE IS SHE?! |
