If you're wondering why I am posting so early in the morning, it's because I feel compelled to. Yesterday I felt a great need to write an entry but when I continued my programming exercise I lost all inspiration and just watched Umineko no Naku Koro ni.
Aside from the mature and more supernatural feel of Umineko in contrast to the childish (rushing into loli guro) feel of Higurashi, I also noticed one other thing that makes Umineko stand out on its own. In Higurashi, we are introduced to the pawns and see the progression of the story in their own eyes (Rika's POV was only touched upon much later in the series), while in Umineko we see the story in the pawn's perspective as well as the players.
That fact might already be old to most of you by now since Umineko was aired a couple of years ago. But isn't it better to watch it continuously without having to wait another week for a new episode?
Well then, I'll probably be thinking about a new entry later this day, if my CMSC 123 exercise presentation will go its way and won't suck out my daily supply of motivation.
