Yes, I know, Umineko means seagulls.
Today was pretty much normal save for my bizarre dream earlier that almost made me fall in love with Haruhi Fujioka with Hotarou Oreki's voice.
I finished Magi last Friday, and I only started Umineko no Naku Koro ni this afternoon going up to episode 6. As I watch, I was able to fold 14 cranes which adds up to 309 for the current total of my cranes. I still have 691 to go to complete the 1000 by the end of the year. Even though my diary tells me that I started folding cranes last January 13, which extends my time for 13 days. Still, my target remains at December 31.
The more mature feel of Umineko in contrast to Higurashi fascinated me. But the setting taking place on an island, a more secluded place than Hinamizawa, narrowed down the scope of the story.
There's still more to this, like Higurashi. I'm still searching for connections between Umineko and Higurashi. So far, Bernkastel and a T.V. show are the only things I have.
Don't you think that sadistic little loli is so adorable?
Of course, let's not forget the creepy smile present in both Higurashi and Umineko.
