Another new game

Hey, hey guess what, I lost rack of my progress in games! HA HA HA HA!

No that actually is a bad thing. Now that I was finally adding content to my blog I'm also destroying it after a few parts completed. I'm still going strong with Pokemon X and my Zelda titles. But since the holidays are drawing to a close, so is my motivation to do anything at all, that might be the main reason why I find blogging a little difficult these past few days.

A lot has happened and I really want to write all about it but simply remembering each event in detail is mind bleeding. Some of these events were social interactions though so I doubt that it would be of any interest because, well, I hate society and I'd give up all the rupees that I have collected in Zelda to blow it all up into a social distortion, then I can say that 'Today's the greatest...day I've ever known".

Anyway since the year is also drawing to a close I'll be posting a lot of 2013 lists such as my top animes (old and new for this year), my whole watch list, my favorite games and maybe just a few more personal stuffs.
Right now all I can say is that...I'm enjoying exploring Hyrule again with Zelda's latest outing, A Link Between Worlds.

My journey in acquiring a copy of the game required me to have a keen eye. The copy wasn't on the shelves of Data Blitz and that somehow disappointed me to no end. It was only when I left the shop when I saw their last copy on display in front of their shop.

A Link Between Worlds is set in the same universe as A Link to the Past. While the game is intended to give veteran gamers of Zelda an extreme euphoric nostalgia, it didn't have that kind of an effect to me because of reasons on my end. Since a Link to the Past is more or less 20 years old, I never got to the play the original game. Even a copy of the remake for the Gameboy is an invaluable rare gem nowadays. Still I was able to play the game (and still playing it) using gpspkai. The experience in a Link to the Past is still totally different than A Link Between Worlds. It's not that feel of playing a remastered version even if the setting is more or less the same.

There are also plenty of interesting characters and new in-game mechanics most especially Link's ability to merge into walls as a drawing. It adds greater depth to exploration and discovery.

My current progress in the game is probably not even close to 10% (I sure hope so). I've still yet to reach Lorule (or even reach the point where it is known in the story).

Now I have 4 games on my hands to finish before the vacation ends (actually 5 counting A Link to the Past).
