Follow up to one of the best gaming magazines

Yes I'm back again still an evolved fanboy for Nintendo (again).

I get the feeling that I didn't pay much respect and tribute to the exit of Nintendo Power magazine. Its final issue was released last year after a 24+ year history of giving its audience a library of information of pretty much all "it" games every month.
Now I'm not being an expert at the magazine since the first ever mag that I had was their issue were the cover was Metroid Prime Corruption (forgot the issue #) courtesy of my aunt who subscribed for me. Still it has been a long journey with the magazine and the team behind it. I got all sorts of inside information regarding old and new games, and even with their final issue it's still jammed packed with skillfully written farewells with added information.

Now that I, again, browsed the final issue the feeling of an "end of an era" suddenly came to me. There resting on my hands was the last issue of an acclaimed magazine that has the name Nintendo in the front cover.
In all honesty, NP was the main reason I got hooked up at the Legend of Zelda series in the first place. I remember one issue where they honored 20 (or something) years of Zelda, and always at number one was Ocarina of Time.

There's really nothing quite like it - a Nintendo-centric magazine - and it truly is an end of an era. Game Over.
