My nightmares before Christmas

Remember how we all like having fevers during school days so that we could stay at home slacking off? Yeah well those nice fever days where staying in bed for the whole day was valid only felt great during elementary (in my case).

My health was at an all time low since Monday evening up till yesterday night. When I planned to sleep the fever off with a dose of paracetamol early I really thought I'd get better the following day. I have never been so wrong my entire life. It was an agonizing, sleepless evening where those small downtime in-between were all full of nightmares and strange dreams that only added to my headache.

After that agonizing evening, I went to war already beaten to a bloody pulp. We had an exercise in MATH 28 and another boring lecture in CMSC 130. I skipped my CMSC 123 lecture class and ENG 2 recit class in hopes of getting a peaceful sleep that afternoon, while I indeed got to sleep, my headache forgot to leave me and my fever didn't go down.

We were all lucky that we didn't have any exercise presentation at our CMSC 123 lab session. I got home early yesterday and instead of sleeping early I, instead, battled my headache and tried to exhaust myself of all my energy reserves so that I can get a good night's sleep.

After a marathon of Nichijou, my fever finally dropped and my headache slowly went away. I slept yesterday night around 10 and finally got a good night's rest. This morning, I woke up with my head slightly floating but a little bit of Nichijou got me going.

The only curse I have left in me is a sever tonsillitis. I'm having trouble eating anything in my reserves here and even drinking water feels like my throat is getting boiled and struck by lightning at the same time. Because of that, I am dehydrated and because of that my sense of taste is acting up. My favorite instant noodles that I ate for lunch earlier never tasted so bad. It was hard enough swallowing but the general taste of bitterness because of lack of fluids and a runny nose had to take all the good things away.

It's a blessing that most of the classes today were all given as free period by our instructors.
Tomorrow will be the last day before Christmas break, I do hope that I get relieved from my tonsillitis before the holiday comes otherwise even my grandma's cooking will become a nightmare.

In other news,
I have new found respect for Justin Bieber despite all the controversies surrounding him. Although I still don't respect him as a celebrity and musician, I now respect him as a person who can make a difference. What he did for the Yolanda victims in Tacloban was definitely a great act of kindness and sincerity coming from him.

The annual Oblation Run in the UP system was earlier this afternoon in UPLB. I don't know about the other UP campuses but whatever the case, I didn't watch it this year because rest takes precedence over "bird-watching".

Well then, a few days left before I continue with my progress in my games~!
