New Game + Pokemon X part 1 + Ocarina of Time 3D part 1

I haven't progressed much with my new games because I'm still trying to get over the goosebumps I get every time I flip the 3DS open. It's a totally different flipping (and gaming) experience than that of the earlier generations of the DS.

So far with 30 minutes of gaming time in my copy of Pokemon X I have picked my starter Pokemon. I broke the tradition that I made since playing the Blue version. This time instead of a water starter I chose Fennekin, a fire type. I do hope I made the right choice. The nickname I gave him is Holt (Hot + Molt). Right now I'm just about to leave Santalune forest. It's true, the new npc trainer designs are amazing. The Lass trainers are so hot, Serena could be in trouble on the cuteness meter. Along the way I've captured a Fletchling (nicknamed Chirp) and a Pikachu (nicknamed Makoto, because Mikoto, well, you get my point).

In Ocarina of Time 3D, I'm still inside the Deku Tree. I haven't played the original Nintendo 64 game yet but I could tell that, this early in the game, Ocarina of Time is indeed one of the video game masterpieces of all time.

We all went back to Olongapo this afternoon, and this time with my own savings I bought a new game at Data Blitz.
It was a difficult choice between Super Mario 3D Land, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
Ultimately, I chose Super Mario 3D Land.

Updates to come again whenever.
