I know I'm really late in playing the game and watching the anime first before playing the visual novel is not a smart move. That apparently was what I did to Clannad, but the content of both media was still so dramatic that I felt compelled to shed a trench of tears. I'm sure the same will go to Little Busters!
I haven't played any VN's outside of Key Visual Arts' domain. If ever I find a good copy (or torrent) of anything other than those made by Key, I'd pick Ef, another old title, or anything by Type-Moon. Apparently my mastery in anime is mediocrity when it comes to visual novels despite most of my favorite animes were adapted from vn's.

In-game goosebumps were already kicking in 30 minutes into the game. The illustrations of each characters greatly differs that from the anime (aren't all VN's like that?) but I especially like Rin's illustration here compared to how moe they made her in the anime adaptation.

"Shinne, baka" The Rin in the VN sounds much bolder than her anime counterpart despite sharing the same seiyuu |
