Hotter in the Rain

When I was still a sophomore back at high school, the reason why it gets real cold in a desert at nighttime is because there are no clouds to trap the heat that was stored during the day.
Likewise, a cloudy evening would result into something warmer.

I'm sitting here killing time while drinking my coffee, then it's all suddenly warm, not just my room but also outside.
Since the resumption of classes three weeks ago, we've been fighting the cold like how Starks deal with the winter.
Every morning is like the whole arctic region came for a visit which makes it hard for me to bathe in the morning. However, this morning seem to be a little different. I woke up an hour ago and since then it has drizzled about three times already, then it suddenly got warm.

Aside from the current temperature, I've also burned my upper gum because of me loving food too much.

When you eat something hot, do you suddenly chew it then quickly swallow or do you spit it out back into the plate?
Perhaps this is a question of etiquette and proper management of eating what's on the plat.
Realization comes a little late though since now my gums hurt.
