2014 is finally here!
If you guys remember, Houtaro Oreki once asked Chitanda if she believes that what you do on new years, you do all year. Chitanda was quick to deny the saying's claim because what if you did nothing on new years day, then you'd be doing nothing all year long.
In my case, regardless of whether I believe it or not, I'm pretty sure I kicked things off pretty nice with a couple of down sides (particularly not focusing on academics). I finally had the reason to pump up the volume of the speakers to maximum. The neighborhood was feasting on anime songs and my terrible voice.
During the first hours of the new year, I helped Link brave through another dungeon to save Lady Impa and start off at the Dark Palace which is rather frustrating on the first part because of those corrupt guards.
I have two more sages on my hands which, I assume, Gully is one of these two. Why else would he be missing in Hyrule? Besides age doesn't seem to be a factor in being a sage since newcomer Irene may just be a couple of years older than Link.
In terms of celebration it was actually a quiet entrance for the new year in contrast to the previous years. The skies were lit up by dazzling fireworks but those didn't last long. Noise played a crucial part in welcoming the new year. A lot of people used the conventional method of making noise such as horns and maximum volume music, and there were some innovators who had the courage to attach a large piece of scrap metal at the tail end of a car or a motor and let it spark as it rides off into the road.
The first anime that I'd complete this year would be Haibane Renmei but since I watched it last December it won't count as the first anime that I watched this year. I still have yet to pick my first title.
Well then, let's all have a wonderful 2014!
