I Haven't progressed much in breeding after my last post. So far I've bred two Absols, two Riolus, two Squirtles, one Torchic, one Fennekin and one Chespin. I'm still powering up my main party before capturing the other two Legendary Pokemons in the game (Zygarde and Zapdos). I have already encountered Zapdos once. I think I need to encounter the bird about 10 times before he stays permanently in Sea Spirit's Den.
So far I've acquired average to rare Pokemons in Wonder Trade. Some of the Pokemons I received were Pinsir, Nosepass, Absol and Ditto, while one of the more infuriating Pokemon trades from trolls was a Bidoof named U MAD?.
Bidoof is definitely one of the most hated pokemon, I can be sure of that.
I also had my first stint at Battling with other trainers from around the world online. I've so far fought nine battles winning four of them. My team needs a lot of improvement (or a new strategy over all) especially now that I've seen quite a few good strategies from other trainers. I also note one of the trainers I fought who had a party full of Shinies. While it wasn't a shiny encounter in the wild, at least now I know just what sets them apart.
Sadly, this will be my last post about my current adventures in Pokemon X. I leave for the University this afternoon and my classes resume tomorrow.
I only have to bear another three months' worth of academic torture. Although just thinking about it is already making me both depressed and nervous, more so because I'm away from the warmth of home and family.
