Progressive Animation Works (P.A. Works) is undeniably one of the best animation studios that is constantly overlooked by many anime fans.
While it is one of the younger animation studios having been established late 2000 and released their first fully produced anime on 2008 (True Tears), their mastery in animation is definitely not ordinary.

they have successfully made an Angel |

Another |
The first anime that I watched from the studio is Angel Beats! which also happens to be the third anime that they produced. We all know how Angel Beats! is closely associated to visual novel developer Key and how Key is closely associated with Kyoto Animation. So why, then, did Angel Beats! fall into P.A. Works' hands?

Hanasaku Iroha |
Details aside, the studio established their name in the animation industry with their work on Angel Beats! Of course, there are still obvious flaws particularly in their inconsistent art with Angel Beats! but they only got better.

Tari-Tari |
They've produced several more anime focusing more on eyegasmic scenery and colorful characters. They've earned a name for themselves because of their distinctive art style that remained constant in Hanasaku Iroha, Another, Tari-Tari and Red Data Girl. They also have a knack for choosing a great cast of voice actors. P.A. Works have tackled quite a wide range of genres as well going from action (Canaan) to drama (most of their anime) to horror (Another).

Red Data Girl (Yes I like Mayura more than Izumiko!!!) |
So far, RDG is the latest anime that I've watched from them, and I'm really looking forward to watching Nagi no Asukara, their latest outing.
...if it wasn't for my damn internet speed I could at least stream some episodes.
