I'm sure the fans of the ever so beautiful and elegant Hatsune Miku are now enjoying her annual concert held every March 9th of every year. It just so happens that her previous concerts were named 39's Giving Day for several reasons:
A. 39 is the name of the band that plays in sync with the Vocaloid characters as they sing
B. 39 roughly translates to two things that both give significant meaning to the concert. 39 can mean "Thank You" in Japanese because the number 3 is pronounced as "San" and the number 9 as "Kyu" thus Sankyu = Thank You. Also 39 can mean Miku for similar reasons.
But 2012 concert was officially called HATSUNE MIKU Concert Final 39's Giving Day", a lot of fans (especially the non-Japanese) thought that Miku and the other Vocaloid characters won't be having another concert again but it's just the band, 39, who won't be playing for the following concerts anymore.
However, I just read on Mikufan.com that 39 (which is probably over hours ago by now) is back to play alongside with Miku and the other vocaloid characters (don't exactly known which of them but it's safe to assume that LUKA, RIN and LEN, KAITO and MEIKO are all there).
Anyway, I'll be away from my laptop for about the whole morning and early afternoon.
We're going to spend time at the beach...the beach. So more people, only this time half-naked (or half clothed) and bathing on a universal bathtub...socializing taken to the extreme.
...
If only there are Nipa Huts out there which offer wifi and free electricity.
Anyways, despite my despair over society, Happy 39's Giving Day (even if the concert is over).
