So it's finally the day we've all been waiting for - summer vacation. Well technically there's no summer season in the Philippines, it's just the heat haze playing around when it's supposed to be spring everywhere else.
So how did my semester go? Pretty well surprisingly considering how many close calls I had in most of my major subjects. I took the most final exams this semester taking on MATH 28, CMSC 123 (which was required) and CMSC 130. Usually those who are exempted from taking the final exams endured more during the semester and took it more seriously. I can't say that my performance during the semester was the same as the other students who took the final exams. Sometimes it's just surprising when you're so sure that you've done well and then BOOM you're required to take the final exam.
I had the same sentiments when I was checking my pre-final grades in CMSC 130 and MATH 28.
But after all those additional sweat and tears (and headaches, and frustration and stress and whatnot) I surpassed the exams and managed to pass.
My final grades are nothing to speak of when basing it on anyone else's standards but I'm happy of what I've got. That's the product of my hard work during the semester and I'm happy with the results.
I'm back home right now. I plan to take summer classes but the courses offered in my recommended courses is only one and so I'm thinking twice about taking summer classes or not. The ideal number of courses is two, having only one for the summer is a waste so I guess I'll be taking on the four month vacation without academic intervention in which I'm required to participate.
Of course I won't be spending all that free time playing around, I still have STAT 1 and my other CMSC courses to keep refreshing in my mind. Hopefully I'll be able to learn something new over the vacation.
Well then, thanks for all the support. Looks like I'm back to posting annoying stuff everyday.
It's a wrap!
