Summer Daze 8

I actually slept in the beginning of this day because it took me a while to clear Pandora's Labyrinth in 3.0 (standard) difficulty.
I totally admire the level design of Kid Icarus: Uprising, but I still am not a fan of the control scheme. Even now that I have a Circle Pad Pro, I've never been more confused with the control scheme.

It took me around twenty to thirty minutes to clear that damn level and things weren't heating up on my first go. It was very confusing and the ground level was extremely frustrating and long. It did have a lot of new content, but it's still damn frustrating. The fascinating dialogue between Palutena, Pit and Pandora during the playthrough still gives a couple of good laughs even if it's partially distracting it definitely adds to the enjoyment along with their constant breaking of the fourth wall. "Oh yeah, Pit, there're no hospitals in this game." (lol).

As a result of my sleeping late, I woke up a little later than usual...about 20 minutes from my usual summer days morning rise time which is 10 am.

I would've stayed in bed a little while longer since it's Sunday but I had two things to expect this morning - first thing was the first episode of Mekakucity Actors, and the other was Pacquiao vs. Bradley 2.

Since yesterday evening I've been eager to stream the first episode of Mekakucity Actors but I couldn't find a decent streaming site. All those screencaps from facebook pages dedicated to Kagerou Daze just added to the excitement.

Pac-Bradley on the other hand was a different matter. While I'm more of an Ultimate Fighting fan, boxing takes priority when our countries national fist gets in the ring with an opponent he must slay. Pacquiao and Bradley first got into a rally in 2012. I remember my mom and I were just arranging my stuff in my dorm in preparation for my first year in college, we were in absolute disbelief when Michael Buffer announced that Bradley won by Split Decision. What a way to start the semester, wasn't it?

Now it's payback time as Pacquiao, the Pac-Man that we all knew who delivered all those stunning K.O.'s, is back!
Props to Bradley for standing up to Pacquiao the whole match, even if he was quite a bastard during the first rounds and an escape artist during the championship rounds, he did well to solidify his name as one of Pac-Man's stronger opponents.

I spent the whole morning lurking on Rappler's live chat on Pac-Bradley's round-by-round statistics and observations.
Bradley really put up a good fight to Pacquiao and if it wasn't for Pac-Man's lightning fast strikes, I would've believed the bout to be a draw.
Hopefully a certain undefeated boxer called Mayweather is on queue to face Pacquiao in the very near future.

The afternoon was a busier time today since my nephew obliged me to constantly run around and catch his curve balls on several parts of our house. Like I said before, he's very hyper and I don't know what coffee could do to him.

Surprisingly enough I haven't played my 3DS for the whole day today maybe because I'm still in a dilemma whether I should proceed to the next stage or repeat Pandora's Labyrinth with a higher difficulty. 9.9 perhaps? Nope I don't think so.

Yep anyway, today also marks the end of an era which is the length of my hair. We're going to chop it off tomorrow and I've taken a lot of commemorative pictures to remember the last day I had long hair. Hopefully it'd grow again for a few months. I'm still dreaming to have long hair enough to tie it in a ponytail. It actually saves me money from buying wigs for certain coslays. Then again, it gives me a hard time to manage because the last time I had really, as in really long hair was during my first year living on this world. Anyway, here's one of the commemorative photo. Fair farren my friendly hair...that's hard to manage that I had to resort into using women's shampoo.

ha! thought you'd get to see my face now did ya? Fine editing skills I tel you, fine and mostly sad editing skills
