Summer Daze 9

Spent the majority of the day outdoors again, but still didn't earn enough social experience to socially level up and get social skills which is why it's a complete social hopelessness. My mom had personal matters to attend to, I just tagged along because I was obliged to finally take a silly haircut.

I tried to keep my wallet away from trading papers and coins for interesting items but I eventually gave in when I entered Data Blitz. There weren't any new interesting titles up for grabs on their 3DS shelves, instead they have new Nintendo themed board games (as in real board games). There were Super Smash Bros. Monopoly, Super Mario checkers and Super Mario Galaxy 550 piece jigsaw puzzle (and they want to play a game). Unfortunately I got hold of the card case before I saw the jigsaw puzzle.

During the down-times when my mom was attending  her personal matters, I went on to clear a few stages of Kid Icarus Uprising. So far the best chapters that I've cleared are the Dark Pit chapter, Medusa's Final Battle chapter (damn that was a long chapter) and Pandora's Labyrinth chapter (despite its confusing design).

I forgot to mention Dark Pit on Summer Daze 8 so I'll praise his character here...hooray for Pittoo!!

The dialogue of KI:U is definitely a big leap for in-game humor. Even the bosses of each chapters have their own shining humorous moments with Pit and Lady Palutena.
Oh yeah, speaking of Lady Palutena, wouldn't it be interesting if the character roster of the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS and WiiU include Palutena. There are already two princesses in the game (Peach and Zelda) and one sexy alien hunter (Samus) but there isn't any goddess yet (not that I'm aware of). Palutena x Zelda would make for an interesting adults only doujinshi...yeah I mean Palutena and Pit vs. Zelda and Link would make for an interesting tag team turmoil.

So far, my progress in KI: U has brought me to Chapter 10. I was surprised when the game only had nine chapters but as the credits rolled, no, even before the credits rolled, during the final fight against Medusa, I found it too easy. Sure enough, as Pit and Lady Palutena have their victory laugh, the real god of the Underworld literally stops the credits from rolling and finally made himself known by introducing himself the same way Pit first flew after about 20 years.

I also ran a few laps at the Remy Field. It's been at least six months since my last intense run which was the 10km division during the Makiling Challenge.

All was well this day, except for my silly haircut. Four months, I have four months to regrow my hair and rid
myself of short hair anomaly.
