As we all know US based Nintendo gaming magazine Nintendo Power ceased publication last December 2012. It was a sad way for them to close the year but they did end the 25 year long game with a blast covering all the essential details for the then upcoming home console WiiU and their magnificent (and a little out of order) list of 285 best games of all time.
My aunt subscribed on their magazine for me and monthly sent their new volumes since 2007. I remember my first copy having the cover of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, which is one of the few game in their rich history of reviews to get a perfect score of 10.
I still have my stash of magazines (though not complete and in mint condition anymore) sitting pretty on our messy computer room. I still reread them for reviews especially the first games to be released on the Nintendo 3DS. It's a little disapponting that they didn't last long enough to cover games like Pokemon X, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and the upcoming Super Smash Bros. 3DS and WiiU.
They're like the Nintendo-exclusive bloated E3 that goes all year round with a holiday issue.
One of the sections in their magazine that I really enjoy reading is the Pulse, especially the second part where the staff asks any questions related to gaming and they'd post some interesting answers from their subscribers. Another recent addition to their magazine was the addition of the Poll as the last part of the Pulse.
As an added gaming content on my blog, even if the questions and polls are outdated, I will answer all the Pulse questions per issue. Now this may come off as a nightmare for people who enjoyed my six day absence from posting anything but right now I'm just happy that I have something to talk about on this lonely abyss called Inukami's Journal.
