Summer Daze 30

Right, I was previously watching WWE Extreme Rules 2014, now I'm enjoying The Amazing Race 24...they were shaving a balloon...

I promised yesterday that I'd be posting about the full procedure of the Hylian Shield, well, funny story demotivation struck and I'm going to delay. Haha, funny right?

I played a lot with my nephew in the morning and the early afternoon. His all 'fun and games' are turning aggressive though thanks to his sadistic mother. I don't really want to talk about that woman but one thing I can really say is that right now she's not fit to take care of her son herself.

Around three in the afternoon Kuya Dado finished the skeleton of the Master Sword. I'm surprised that the length of the blade was spot on. My only problem now is adding flesh to the skeleton. I've so far added four layers of paper towel and glue mixed with water on the handle. I'm actually still not sure how I'm going to work on the rest of the hilt with spot on details without making it look lousy. I suck at paper mache' but that's an essential part of the whole procedure for the paint to stick. I've so far unrolled the duct tape that I bought.
I Think in Comics' procedure had a lot of duct tape in it, but despite my love for the sound the tape makes when being unrolled I'm trying to avoid using less duct tape and more glue instead. Still, I have no idea how I'm going to achieve that epic look of the Master Sword.
Anyway, here's the skeleton with that hurr durr paper towel added.

The wings on the hilt is a little narrow. I'll just have to stick in a wider cardboard cut-out with the design.
I'll probably work on the Master Sword for the whole day, I dunno. It all depends on my motivation.

Goodnight.
