I forgot to mention yesterday that I went out with my mom and nephew to play at the park. While I do partially enjoy the park (as long as it has a swing and a slide wide enough to contain me) it also means that I have to see people. It was only for just an hour, and my nephew really had fun at the swing and the slide, but my nervous fluids rose high that time. What if someone came up and talked to me saying "are you done with the swing yet?", oh no no no no the swing is, just as any other country, completely territorial. First one on it get's to decide how long he keeps it.
This day was a little less socially intense, thankfully. I got my first possible buyer for the two 3DS games that I'm selling. Our transaction lasted for the whole day and the buyer still has yet to pick the item up. Thanks to his persistence, I dropped the price of Yoshi and Castlevania by 100 units and that's already being generous!
I learned one important lesson today about selling stuff - selling is almost the same as fishing...even though I haven't exactly experienced fishing before (other than fishing in Ocarina of Time and Phantom Hourglass).
Anyway, your item is the bait, the buyer is the fish, the price is the fishing pole, and the whole negotiation is how you reel the fish in.
Negotiate too fast and the fish might not agree to the price and so it lets go of the fishing pole and the bait all together.
I finally got back with my 3DS this afternoon. Resident Evil is really giving me goosebumps and a lot of uneasy terrors even when turning around corners. The Circle Pad Pro is still a little confusing, if I don't get used to it I might sell it as well. My main problem with an enemy encounter is the manual targeting system.
I haven't really played Resident Evil before but I had a taste of a similar core mechanic in Silent Hill Origins before...apparently I was too over-experienced in terms of getting scared easily so it was really a short-lived survival effort.
The buyer of Mirror of Fate might come by to pick up the game tomorrow. That's 800 units added to my ammunition. A few more and I'll have enough to buy the upcoming Super Smash Bros. 3DS.
Do it for SAMUS!...and ZELDA!!
