Summer Daze 56: Halftime Problems

Ever since elementary school, the last week of May signaled the end of the 60+ days of my wonderful summer vacation. Normally, I'd be feeling completely nervous and uneasy because I spent all those days gaming and in front of my laptop mindlessly browsing the latest news about things I don't really care about but because of the continuum shift...no, I meant academic calendar shift we still have June and July as extensions. But they are not all fun and games now that I'm currently experiencing problems regarding my registration and the corresponding expenses connected to it.

The University has a new tuition system that trashes the brackets in favor of discounts. These discounts depend on the annual income, financial and work status of the student's parents which are in turn declared on online application forms. According to their guidelines, we (the students) don't need any supporting documents to prove our claims and it (might) solely be by the administrations decisions as to what kind of discount we'll get.
The full tuition is 1,500 per unit. The discounts given are 33%, 60%, 80%, full discount and full discount + monthly stipend. During my first two years in the University they were still using the STFAP system and the tuition depended on what bracket the student is placed. I kept my bracket B position (1000 per unit) and with the new system, I'll most likely (at least I hope so) get 1000 per unit. Still, I hope whoever makes the decision would be considerate. I just think that giving discounts based on an online application with no supporting documents is a little inconsistent and it could be biased.

The application period for upperclassmen starts on June 9. Right now the only requirement that we need to prepare is our own UP e-mail account which we will use to log in and fill up the application. And that's my (and probably most of my fellow students) current problem right now. I got my UP e-mail last week and according to their instructions, I should reset the password after my first log-in which I did. But then my new password won't let me log-in and the only option for using it again was by a request of password reset to their helpdesk.
I'm currently still in the dark as to what I should do. My last option is to go to the University maybe two or three days before the online application and request for an account reset.

Academics will always come to haunt you, huh?

Also, I still need to refresh all the old lessons from the previous semesters so that I can at least save myself from bewilderment on the first day of classes on August (I estimate that I've repeated this statement three times over the course of this summer vacation but still nothing happened...yet).

Other than my current academic-related problem in the middle of summer vacation, things just go up and down back here at home (but just mainly myself).

I'm suffering two mouth cramps just an inch away from each other on the inside of my upper lip. Every time I open my mouth whether to speak or eat stings me to a devastating submission that I'd rather blender my food and just drink them. But liquefied bacon and eggs don't really...just no.

On the brighter side of things, Bravely Default is absolutely amazing! The internet was right, it's the traditional Final Fantasy that never was. There's a lot of things to do and closing the system to sleep doesn't seem like an absolute waste of batteries anymore. Here are a few caps from my current game play:

Caldisla during the day

Norende Ravine Peak
...and the 3rd most one-sided boss fight I've ever encountered:

Seriously, Crowe here really needs to catch a break. He stutters and he's afraid of women. He's not Raj, though. Raj got over his problem, but this guy just needed an overload of Brave and he's out for the season.

Speaking of boss fights, if I'm motivated tonight I might make a list of the 10 easiest and hardest boss fights since I knew how to jerk a joystick (I absolutely meant no sexually suggestive pun there).
