Alright, I just used my grandma's Icy Hot muscle pain reliever and I must have used a lot of it because the back of my neck and upper back are in incredible pain right now. It's like rubbing dry ice and jalapeno over there I don't know if I'm getting a frost bite or a 3rd degree burn. So that's how muscle pain relievers work, they distract you from the muscle pain by delivering an even more incredible pain.
I've started playing Brain Age 2 again and so far my current brain age is 39. I suck.
In Bravely Default I'm at Chapter 3. Agne's is all lovable alpha b*tch right now sulking because her dear friend Olivia died right in front of her. Sure that's sad but not alpha b*tch transforming sad.
Oh wait...ahhh it's finally gone. I searched how to wash off Icy Hot. I almost washed it off with water but thankfully I didn't just yet because it would've gone worse for me. ehow.com's solution is to apply olive oil to the burning area and gently wash off the olive oil with water then dry with a clean cloth. It's all gone now and I won't be using that Icy Hot roll for a while.
I'm maybe a week late right now for updating my blog about this year's E3. I already bombarded my facebook account with various Nintendo announcements made in E3 especially Hyrule Warriors and the Skyrim-looking ZELDA 2015 but it's unfair for my lonely blog.
Here's my current wishlist (and because of all these, I probably won't be attending this year's Cosplay Mania):
WiiU
- on top of my wishlist is a WiiU. With Nintendo's promising announcements in E3, this is definitely the time to save up my allowance and hopefully get myself my first ever home console. My current feeling regarding this is the same as when I wanted a 3DS because of Pokemon X.
Super Smash Bros. 3DS
- My hopes of getting SSB 3DS before the long vacation ends were flushed down the sinkhole because release of the title falls to Q4. Hopefully it'll be out by October but even if I have saved enough I won't be able to play it because of acads.
Pokemon Alpha Sapphire or Omega Ruby
- Finally a Gen. 3 remake and boy does it look good. Not only does the remake feature the same updated graphics of Pokemon X but actions are more fluid and Hoenn looks amazing. This is a must for every Pokemon fan.
Hyrule Warriors
- Reactions to Hyurle Warriors has been mixed because of the sudden change in formula of the Zelda series. At first I thought of it as the Judgement of the Castlevania series but it turns out the game still has a story according to this site, at least. But it might just be all fight and no dungeon exploring and puzzle solving. It's just pure overkill with several of Link's signature move. But there's a cool addition to the game that just renewed my interest, Link is not the only playable character. Nintendo's E3 preview featured Zelda, Impa and even Midna as playable characters. I haven't played Twilight Princess before but heck Midna is one of my favorite characters in the long running series. Hyrule Warriors is a definite must try.
Zelda 2015
- Perhaps the game that garnered the most attention and cheers at Nintendo's part in E3. Zelda 2015 (tentative title) featured an open-world that's similar to Skyrim. But unlike previous Zelda titles, the innovation here is that you can reach any area from any direction and any time within the game. "The puzzle solving" starts when you get there according to Nintendo. The trailer was simply amazing. Excellent graphics, beautiful sound effects, incredible background and Link sports a ponytail everything that makes The Legend of Zelda move to the next generation.
Other past Wii titles
- the advantage of skipping the Wii to WiiU is that WiiU is backwards compatible so games originally for the Wii can be played on the latest console. However, the offside to this is that games for the GameCube especially Resident Evil 4, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and so on won't be playable.
But really, Nintendo's E3 performance this year was a big overtake from behind overshadowing Sony and Microsoft. Sure, let's say that Sony and Microsoft are bigger than Nintendo but just the fact that those two company competing against each other, when Nintendo is on stage the spotlight is theirs and theirs only.
Now then, in case you guys fall prey at the hands of Icy Hot muscle pain reliever, your shield and sword is an olive oil damped cotton ball.
