Gerudo Heat Haze (and RWBY - Wings)

The long line under the heat haze during Ozine Fest 2014 has nothing compared to the heat here in the university. It feels like we're studying at the Gerudo Valley right now. I can't even enjoy a hot cup of coffee in the morning. Then comes all this stress brought by academics. And it's just the damn second day, damnit.

At least I've found something to distract myself from the empty feeling (mild this time) I always get after spending too much time in R&R.

I got nothing interesting on me right now other than complains on the academic level. But perhaps it's alright to give a spoiler on my current 6-hole ocarina project. My schedule is alright, yet I still find it extremely unforgiving. During my break I either stare endlessly into the void trying to imagine things that could bring about the worlds end in the most peaceful way, or listen to music trying to find a piece I could translate for the ocarina.

My current project now is Kazumiya Rio's introduction of the Time Heralding Bastion to Sorami Kanata in the first episode of So Ra No Wo To. I couldn't find any appropriate title for the piece so I just named it "The Time Heralding Bastion" on my Blue Notes. In the scene, Kanata actually mentions "The Sound of the Sky" while listening to the piece but she was probably referring to the sound of the trumpet and not the actual piece itself.

If inspiration and motivation hits me hard, I'll probably finish it by tomorrow afternoon. If not, then I'll just be staring endlessly into the void again trying to think of ways to fill the emptiness that not even Miku's songs could fully cure.

For the mean time, feast on this (imperfect) 6-hole ocarina fingering chart of Wings from RWBY:

I don't want to post my video yet since there's a lot of off-tunes on the first half before "Dry yours eyes now baby..." that said, the last half is pretty spot on except the last line. Anyway, if I stay motivated and make it out alive in this heat haze (pun intended, props to you if you get it) I'll work on it.
But no promises. I've already broken a lot.
