Stretching Time

Well whoop-ti do, it's already two weeks in the new academic term and I still can't stop thinking about how fast the four month vacation went by.

Ten o'clock was my usual waking time back at home, now at ten o'clock I've already attended two classes, passed an application regarding my current tuition discount, spoke more than a hundred words and questioned the movement of time during lecture hours. Yep, academic bleeding, I tell you.

Teachers, instructors, professors - whatever you call them I suspect that deep down they are Chronomages and their power manifests every time their conducting a lecture. How else can you explain 60+ slides of presentation + lecture fitting in an hour? They probably get their mana from the stress we get...that would explain the academic bleeding... *gasp* I figured it out!
Yeah, no. I've been watching too much anime...again.

But it's not like all classes are as painful as how I perceive them. Some are also fun, but still after a while this fun would just turn out to be a nightmare in disguise.

Yesterday, I got to speak in front introducing myself to the class of SPCM 1 (Speech Communication). I tried advertising my blog but based from today's view count, my plea didn't touch their hearts enough to - at the very least - search for it on Google.
the rushed notes I made before being called out
On CMSC 124 we were taught the basics of COBOL working on a simple Wage Computer for our first exer. It's like going back to CMSC 11 where we first learned C but thankfully this time I've experienced programming enough to know my way around the basic stuff, but I still couldn't finish the exer during the allotted time. Well anyway, I have until tomorrow at 9 pm to get it done. My current problem now is installing a COBOL compiler on my incredibly slow Ubuntu.
