The Four Trials

In the penultimate chapter of Kid: Icarus Uprising (I finished already by the way, reviews will come later) Pit is pitted (yes pun intended) against Three Trials by Dyntos in order to convince the god of Forge that he is worthy of the Great Sacred Treasure.

In my case, I'm up for four trials this weekend with a pile of take-home programming exercises - because it's not enough that is has to haunt you at school, it also has to haunt you at home - and it's just the third week damnit. The good news here is that touching anything related to C is far off from now, and the bad news comes in the form of COBOL and Assembly. One needs a lot of space, and the other wants you to keep repeating yourself. My other exercise is the supposedly "fun" Interactive Computer Graphics course. I learned the hard way that fun starts when the hard parts are done. That is to say, programming is hard but playing the output is fun and most definitely should be worth it.

I found the right reaction to all these in one scene from episode 11 of Soul Eater.
weekend dominated by assignments
The gif is actually pretty handy when there's only 5 minutes left in the clock and the professor decides to sneak in a new lesson.
