Despite it being one of my favorite card games, I'm not really that well-versed in Koi-Koi. Yeah, I know the basic rules in the game such as the Yaku's and the pointing system but I feel like I'm missing out a lot in the game if I don't know which figure belongs to what suit - such as one of the Blue Ribbons belonging to the Chrysanthemum suit. Because of this, I tend to just play on cards which I can easily get Tane or Kasu and build on my score with just a few points per round.
However, there are times when I get lucky with the cards dealt to me and I end up with good yaku's. The best yaku that I've formed so far was Ame-Shiko (a combination of the Rainman and 3 Brights). But in one game I had with the extra difficult CPU in Hanafuda Flash, in an almost Summer Wars-esque way as if I was fighting Love Machine I won with Sanko (Natsuki won with Goko). Still that was a good win with only 14 turns considering I always lose.
