I'm back!
...
I don't think it's appropriate mentioning that, though since I never even left in the first place. But in terms of being out for a week, then indeed I am back Y2J style where I stay for a while and go AWOL again after a few posts.
Last week I was burdened with a load of academic requirements including exams and make-up classes. Of course, the natural thing to do when it comes to a tight schedule like that is to divide the load into manageable tasks within sufficient allocated time over the weekend. However, I, instead, chose to pick up my sketchpad and draw a record three, yes you read that right, THREE (incredibly far) sketches of some of my favorite anime characters.
But for the post count benefit of my blog, I'll be giving them one post each. Here's the first one:
Yep, that's our favorite Delivery God, Yato...at least the sketch should look like it.
My assessment on this one is the hair on the right looks a bit too bulky, the shading of the scarf is messy and the proportion of the shoulders to his neck and head is way out into the far-shore.
Yeah. This took me 30 minutes of trying to get my left hand to output exactly what boss brain on the top floor wants but it seems the figurative connection of imagination and reality - even on a personal scale - is far off the distance, still.
