Funny how plans tend to go down the drain when the moment arrives. Take this post for example, this was supposed to be my first post for the month telling about my journey back home for the Holy Week. It's irrelevant now, sadly.
Here's a snip of the draft to save space:
I played a lot with Yuwii during my five day break leaving a barren land of the corpses of my enemies in Bayonetta 2, and losing a lot in For Glory Smash Wii U. For some reason I got better against the Lv. 9 CPUs in Smash Wii U but when it comes to online play my opponents still find it easy to read my movements (in my sorry defense to protect my fighter status: the lag was terrible).
Aside from Yuwii I also updated my copy of Smash 3DS, the CPUs were given an obvious boost now putting up a better fight. Pre-update it usually takes me two minutes to finish a 3-stock Smash, now it takes me five to six minutes of a player-CPU cat-and-mouse chase forcing me to grab and guard more often.
Following the system and software updates, I crossed of getting the Flipnote Studio 3D on my Club Nintendo To-do list. It's a nice and small 3D animation software with plenty of features that may or may not perfectly fit in the screen of the 3DS. My first few tries were fun of course, but I still have to focus harder if I want to move on from stick figures. It's all in the hands holding the stylus, I suppose. Aside from Flipnote Studio 3D, and the Smash update, I still have two other (planned) downloads that I guess I should be talking about (y'know to avoid awkward silence over an indefinite period of time), but I'll save them for another post. Here's a spoiler, though, for what it's worth:
Outside of gaming I spent a lot of time bonding with my nephew who can now distinguish between Disney Junior and Animax. I swear you can't pass a morning without him demanding (by either cries or screams) to watch Sophia the First, High Five and the Little Mermaid.
Really, though, I did everything I mostly wanted to do during the Holy Week break except to actually actively participate in the Holy Week as a Catholic. Get this, I slept through the Chrism Mass, I played with my nephew inside the church during the Washing of the Feet mass, I slept through the whole morning of Good Friday (which is the peak celebration in our town), I didn't even try my best to keep the solemnity of the Procession that evening because I kept fooling around with my cousins. The only events I can say that I did right were the Visita Iglesia and, well, that's it.
Wow.

It's still out there waiting for me to get it...slow internet. I can't even log in the e-Shop |
