May the 4th be with you!...well at least that's what I wanted to say when I made the draft a week ago. Y'know one merit of having your blog's anniversary the same day as Star Wars day is that I can post anything about Star Wars and just forget about what this blog accomplished over the last year (absolutely nothing, I tell you. Nothing!). But since it's May the 9th now the moment has passed and I'm obligated to do something like these two posts:
The First Sniff
The 2nd Sniff
to maintain tradition. Pshh "tradition".
The only notable change that happened to this blog is the amount of posts. When I first started this blog I filled it with egotistical nonsense like an extra large slam book with only one name in it - mine. The monthly post count has gone down and the majority are gaming reports.
Apparently what I feared years ago has happened, I'm no longer a hardcore anime fan. Trust me it's more tragic than it sounds if you know me personally since I learned how to hide the TV remote from my parents. Anyway like I said I'm not much of an anime fan anymore, I still do watch quality titles every now and then whenever I have the heart to sacrifice a few minutes of sleeping. Gaming on the other hand overtook what's left of my normal mode sanity like wildfire, it's partly my fault because I didn't steer clear, heh.
I mostly distract myself from quick play games such as fighting, and rhythm games during acad weeks. Just recently, and by that I mean this afternoon, I finally got to try the rhythm game Osu! And well, this Saturday's theme suddenly changed from "at least do something productive" to "goodbye productivity, ciao Osu!".
Despite my erupting excitement three months ago when I got Majora's Mask I found it hard to progress. Even my Alpha Sapphire adventures was put to a halt since starting it last November. This is all thanks to a mountain load of unfinished requirements looming in the darkest corners of my focus and attention.
Academics remain the same...I think. I have a lot of 2's, three 3's, and thank god a few 1's on my record, which is nice. Hopefully there's only one year left till Angel Beats!'s episode 13.
Before that though there are a lot more challenges to come such as our upcoming practicum next month, final projects, exams, oh y'know all the stuff that make up a student's nightmares.
By the way, this is my first time spending the month of April and May not at home. Aside from the terrible heat haze I appreciate how peaceful it is here during these supposedly Philippine-summer months. I almost wanted to go out of my room just for a walk.
Ok, now read the second sentence of the 2nd paragraph again.
Have you read it? Well based on this post nothing really changed, huh? Oh don't worry. I'll think of something soon, just give me a day or the next eternity, it's gonna be there somewhere. Have faith in me! What's that? You don't? Well...
Alright, now get back to what you're doing. I'm gonna play Osu! now. Gotta go!
