Classes are over but I still find it hard to relax considering all academic requirements left for this semester, finals, and the oh so uncertain future. I'd like to talk about last weekend which I spent with my parents job hunting but so far everything has been neutral news and just remembering the bulk of that weekend sends me into despair. But yes, it's still neutral news, let's keep it a touch above bad!
Mid-sem is fast approaching and if I want to take our curriculum's practicum course I really have to find a company that would hire me. For the mean time, I'll just spend the last of this semester's days staring at a digital copy of my resume hoping that a virus called "Takane Enomoto" would just edit it all out and spam the inbox of software companies.
Ah life, can you believe it?
One moment I'm jumping from one sofa to the next monoblock pretending that the floor is the final resting place of my dead imaginary friends, then on the next I'm wearing a long-sleeved shirt and trying to tie a tie keeping that small annoying piece shorter than the actual tie.
Anyway there's no real point to this post. I just want to show my current collection of Haruki Murakami novels (plus my viewer count is dropping so, yeah). After months of searching I finally found a copy of Kafka on the Shore, and After Dark at the ATC branch of Power Books:
But like I said above, I still have no time to relax and so both copies remain unopened and unread for now.
My #1 favorite among Murakami's books is Norwegian Wood, and my least favorite is The Elephant Vanishes. I'm currently on the lookout for Sputnik Sweetheart, The Strange Library, and 1Q84, but damn that last one is still heavy on the price tag on book stores. Anyway, those are great gift options *wink* *wink*. Nah, I'm just kidding. Books, at least for me, appear better when you're the one who bought them.
Gotta go!
...but a dream.
