I'm not exactly a fan of the Tales series. I know it's a great series of JRPGs but I've only ever played two titles: Tales of Eternia and Tales of the World Radiant Mythology, so I feel like I'm not in any position to say anything 'informative' about it. However, when someone mentions the Tales series in a conversation (that actually never happens) the first thing that comes to my mind are the theme songs. While I know only so little about the gameplay and story of the majority of the Tales series, I do know just how rockin' epic are their theme songs. Kotaku published an article about that a few months ago highlighting the main series' opening theme songs most likely in commemoration of the series' 20th anniversary and the release of Tales of Zestiria.
My favorites among the songs compiled are the opening themes of Vesperia, Graces, Hearts and Zestiria.
It's thanks to these opening theme songs that I found the interest to read about some of the series' stories and characters. The characters from Graces struck me as really cute especially Sophie and Pascal. Sophie looks like the type of imouto you just want to keep protecting, while Pascal is that super positive onee-san type you like to hang around with. I'm not all too familiar with the characters yet since I'm sure there's more to find out when I'm actually playing the game instead of when I'm just reading the Aselia wiki.
Anyway, the drawing:
I really suck at lettering. Really. Lettering. I feel like lightning surged through me as I was writing the title.
Forgive me for what I did to Pascal. The shadings on her hair is not supposed to look like that, trust me. It's just, well, while her hair seems acceptable (I actually enjoy drawing hairs now), the coloring makes it look like she belongs to a card game anime.
