June 12

Like I said yesterday, today is the anniversary of the Philippine Independence. So what did I do on this free day with my free time? I stayed at my room and went full hikikomori...
or maybe not.

I woke up at 7:50 am. The sun was in unison with the hearts of the Filipino's today as it gently spread its bright sunlight in across a cheerful country (I'm not really sure about that, though).
I ate my last four strips of salmon belly and a burger patty. After eating, I took a bath, and after bathing I wrote down the stuff I needed to buy to accomplish the requirements given to us yesterday.

I went out around 9:30 am.
First, I went to the photo studio nearest UPLB and requested 8 pieces of 1x1 picture. The whole process of shooting, editing, printing and cutting took less than 5 minutes. And I'm really grateful to that editing part, they made my face shine rather than oily-despite the fact that I took a bath not 20 minutes ago at that time.
After paying for the pictures, I went to Paponei's (a school supply and other trinkets shop) to buy a Grade 4 pad paper and 4 pieces of 4x6 index cards.
Apparently, just because it's the anniversary of our nation's day of freedom, the products bought this day aren't free.
My whole expenses today was 66 php. I went to the church afterwards and finally went back to my dorm.
It took me less than 40 minutes to accomplish everything I needed to do in the outside world then I locked myself in the room.

When I got back, I watched several episodes of Sket Dance and also started Chihayafuru. How do I put it, Chihayafuru didn't give me a good impression in its first 10 minutes but everything after that was magnificent.
The design was what you'd normally see in a typical shoujo manga/anime but there's one key point in the story that made it unique and that is the involvement of the Japanese card game Karuta as a driving force in the series.

In the afternoon, I ate 2 waffles and a burger patty.
After eating, I completed one of the requirements given yesterday in our Hum 1 subject which involves the index cards and the 1x1 photo.
It's basically a large calling card or business card with an essay about you written on the back. I tried to make it short but pretty much accurate about myself.
I completed that requirements around 30-40 minutes. It's very intense when you're writing in cursive.

I played a non-standard ruled fight against Sami via webcam. I won our first match but lost on the second via deck-out.
I went online again to stalk some people on facebook and afterwards studied mathematics.
I spent 2 hours summarizing a whole work text on several pages on a quiz pad. I don't know why but I just can't seem to focus on any topic if the words, figures and drawings aren't made by myself.

It's been an hour and a half after I decided to take a break. Most likely the end of this break will be bed time and so I can say that I've wasted some minutes of precious time. My attention span doesn't really exceed more than 3 hours - and rarely does it reach that level.

Well then, I guess I can still write some lines in one of the light novels. Good night!
trying a "bossun" look but the face, hair even the color of the goggles and hat is wrong...pshhh I need to lose some weight
