Woke up at 5:50 this morning but didn't get out of my bed until ten minutes later. Usual Wednesday morning routine.
I arrived at the venue of my STAT 1 subject 15 minutes before the time. One of my bloc mates who arrived a few seconds after me greeted me with a warm 'hello' as we waited for the Hall technician to unlock the doors to the hall.
There were no electric power at the start of the lecture but we still went on with the usual quiz at the beginning of the lecture. Our lecturer also didn't dismiss us despite the blackout and continued with her lecture.
We now moved to chapter 3 of the topic outline in STAT 1. About 15 or 20 minutes into the lecture session, the power went back on and, still, the lecture continued on but we were all able to focus better because the room was aired out by AC units.
I almost drifted off through the remaining 30 minutes of the lecture, if not for the lecturer to ask questions to the people behind me, my mind wouldn't have stayed active.
When the lecture session ended, I went back to my apartment.
I used the one and a half hours of free time surfing the net and listening to my anime playlist in iTunes.
Around 9:20, I went to the venue of my CMSC 57 lab subject.
The lab exercise for this week's CMSC 57 lab session was definitely easier than last week's grueling exercise about Sampling.
My partner was also my seatmate at my CMSC 21 lab sessions.
We weren't able to answer all of the questions (we left question 2 D. unanswered) simply because our mind was reaching its limit of thinking capacity and needed to do some activities which eases the mind.
I know 3 hours of intensive learning and knowledge application is paradise for some, but for me it is a headache-inducing activity designed for the students to develop a trauma.
After the lab session, I stopped by the church to pray and here's one of the events of this day to note.
When I entered the Adoration Chapel, no, before I entered the Adoration Chapel, when I opened the door there was a guy and a girl sitting together on the right wooden chairs going inside the chapel.
The girl was crying and the guy was consoling her. I didn't know how to react at the spur of the moment-whether I should close the door and pray outside or proceed inside the chapel.
Since my mind is more used to going through a door that I opened, I entered the chapel.
As I prayed silently, the girl kept crying uncontrollably and the guy was still consoling her telling her how important she is just as anyone else to the eyes of God.
At first, I assumed that she was in some kind of trouble, or that she was being bullied but then I realized that those two were not boyfriend and girlfriend because they were more like best friends.
The way the guy was consoling her definitely implies that (I'm speaking based on my personal experiences, please don't call me judgmental). So I came to the conclusion that she was heartbroken.
Whatever the case was, my intention for entering was definitely not to snoop around and eavesdrop on whatever the girl was feeling and whatever the guy was saying. But still, I do hope that the girl who was crying find peace and comfort amidst all the pain that she's currently feeling.
I went back to my apartment and spent the next 2 and a half hours surfing the net and re-watching the plot-points of Chihayafuru.
I also continued folding paper cranes, my current count now is 213 papaer cranes out of 1000.
I went to the IBS 30 minutes before the start of the NASC 2 class. I went around the outside of the institute looking at the bulletin boards and reading the pinned flyers.
Our NASC 2 lecture was, as the previous lectures, extremely boring and sleep inducing.
Seriously!! I thought that my long awaited astronomy subject was going to be interesting yet with a great (but boring) lecturer and great subject turned out to be so frustrating to the point of "meh I'll just sleep through the class" kind of feeling.
My main complaint is the delivery of the subject matter of the lecturer. The way she teaches the class is typical to the ordinary teachers who keeps presenting a powerpoint presentation, reads the contents, explains for a while and adds concepts that seemed to have popped out of nowhere.
Before the last 30 minutes of the lecture, we were given a quiz and during the last 30 minutes of the lecture, we were given a group activity which I wasn't able to contribute anything on.
After the session, I went to ministop and bought a bottle of Mountain Dew. I gave myself a treat today but I really do have to start saving money for the cons that I plan to attend.
I got back to my apartment around 5:45 pm. Since then, I've been surfing the net, watching anime and studying.
After posting this I'd probably watch an episode of Neon Genesis Evangelion (Remastered) then finally go to sleep.
Well then, goodnight!
technically the caption of the picture is legit because...well the cat is Madara, not the Uchiha though
