Right, so I mentioned last night that I'd be posting a lengthy entry for this day but I assume that pnly the pictures included would do the "length" justice. Anyways let me begin with yesterday.
July 14, 2013
Morning:
My Sunday morning was much like how it was on the previous weeks. I refrain from hitting the books during mornings like this and just sit back and watch a few episodes of the current anime titles on my playlist.
So what did I watch this morning?
I watched two animes and continued on until I finished them, these were Mahou Sensei Negima! and Sora no Otoshimono Forte.
Here are my comments for the two:
Mahou Sensei Negima:
Despite its being both a harem and fantasy themed anime, the story remained strong and I never lost interest in it.
The great mass of the characters were mainly drawn from the 31 students of Negi Springfield but even with that great number, the story didn't give much space to accommodate all of them per arc. Some were just sides and some didn't really have any speaking lines until the very last episode.
Still, Mahou Sensei Negima! offered a superb story that is both comedic and dramatic while not going too far as to be considered a RomCom.
If there was anything to really complain about, I guess it'd be the final episode. As with any animes or stories in general, the climax and the follwing conclusion should send off its audience with great admiration and inpiration. But because of that great mass of characters being jammed into one supposedly epic finale turned out to be just a silly climax.
There was also noting remarkable to the conclusion of the anime. If anything, it just gave of a euphoric feel that gives the audience assurance that everything will be okay. Though, the ending of the arc didn't really give justice to its own beginning.
The lecture went on with guest speakers. This time, it's a Colonel from the AFP.
Day:
Mom and I ate lunch at KFC. The McDonalds near the UP gate still has 8 days to go before its "grand" re-opening.
I sort of miss their fried chicken even though KFC's chicken is more delicious.
After lunch, mom and I went to the church to pray and went back to the apartment.
While mom was packing her things, I did this to the macarons she bought for me at The French Baker:
I studied for a little during the quiet afternoon.

Sora no Otoshimono Forte:
This season was absolutely notches above its predecessor. Obvious improvements came from both technical and story-wise sectors of the anime.
I especially commend the story-wise improvement of the Angeloids in the series. More serious actions, more dramatic content and less of the pointless humor (although there are some which are essential to the plot). But despite the improvements on the character of the angeloids, there's nothing to speak about the humans. Except maybe the romance between Sugata and Minako.
Day:
I didn't eat my lunch, rather, I proceeded on to the Carillon Tower (the beautiful abandoned tower in the far part of the campus) to meet with my group mates in NSTP to film our 2-minute video presentation about giving first-aid to someone having a seizure.
Panoramic shot of the abandoned Carillon Tower. I so really want to climb to the top and just enjoy the view. |
It took us an hour and a half to film a 2-minute video. I had fun with my group mates despite the abnormal weather. When we all went home, rain started to pour down so I had to run from the nearest waiting shed to my apartment. I got a little soaked, it's nothing to speak about in terms of harming my health.
While mom was cleaning the apartment, I was out studying and drew my first sketch of one of my characters from my fantasy novel.
I finally ate lunch around 5 pm. Afterwards, mom and I went out to visit the church and buy a few stuffs.
Night:
When we got back to the apartment, this cat was seating nicely in the left piece of my mom's slipper:
Mom bought me Chowking's Golden Chinese Pork Rice for dinner. But before eating, we prayed the rosary.
The latest in Chowking's menu was definitely tasty but it doesn't give you a big share so that they could be sure that you'd keep searching for the taste until you've bought yourself a year's worth of it. (That we didn't though, I don't need a year supply of chowking...no definitely not, but who am I to reject it if it's free).
I started Negima!? and Robotics;Notes this evening.
I didn't reconsider the fact that there was no absolute point on watching a series which was an alternate (and comedic) retelling of the original. But since I am still currently hungover by Negima, I say what the hell.
I already watched Negima!? but not in its entirety.
That about sums up the July 14.

Morning:
I woke up around 8:45 and proceeded to do things that are really not to my absolute bidding.
I got to the venue of our NSTP class ahead of time.
On my assigned chair, this was written: (probably from a heartbroken person who just want to tell her story via vandalism)
The person who wrote this is heartbroken because whoever Hana dated has now left her. Whoever the guy is he better watch out if this Hana is a yandere.

I'm pretty sure Victorique is at the top of the library again figuring out how to smack my face across the internet |
I studied for a little during the quiet afternoon.
Night:
The night is still early right now but I guess it's better to post my entry early.
I plan to use the remaining time of the day watching anime and study (if I find the right motivation again)
Well then, I guess this is my longest post to date. To you, reader, I salute you for reading my entries with (I do hope) great interest. Goodnight.
