Since Flappy Bird became notorious in the university and for all I know it's already taken over the rest of the world, a lot of changes (big changes) has been happening.
I first learned about that damn bird last weekend mainly from Pew Die Pie's let's play video of the cursed app. I swear that Flappy Bird needs to be one of the features of Dumb Ways to Die.
Anyway, I didn't pay much attention to that DAMN bird because I was still studying for two upcoming exams.
After the exam, though, I downloaded the game.
The first of many wtf's I had with the game was actually downloading it. My internet connection seem to be in complete agreement with the essence of THAT DAMN BIRD to frustrate the user before even playing it.
I managed to download that 900 kb something app and finally got it going.
It has the familiar font of GTA, the sfx and pipes of Mario, and there close to the left side of the screen, a flightless bird that came straight from Pandora's Box.
I played the game. Hated it. Still playing it now.
My current best score is 21 and that was two days ago. Now I'm just playing my ocarina with a silent tune lamenting on how I can fry THAT DAMN BIRD.
Anyway, as for changes that occurred this week:
(queue sfx: Weekday update by Seth Myers)
The UP system has announced yesterday probably one of their biggest news in recent years, the adjustment of the Academic Calendar from June to March to August to May has been made official.
The only pro I can think of that this year will see a four month vacation for the students but then the succeeding years, I'll be having trouble attending Cosplay Conventions.
I haven't been to the Freedom Park of UPLB but I'm pretty sure that it's crammed with booths ready to serve and entertain all the guests in the upcoming Feb. Fair next week.
I finished watching Red Data Girl last night and it's currently the best anime that I've watched this year, however it will be quickly overthrown once I finish So Ra No Wo To.
...and that's it.
Need to take a bath now, my next class is in 30 minutes.
