New Game: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D

Truly, time moves slower when you're waiting in anticipation for something grand that it is the only thing occupying your mind. With nothing to distract me, nothing to keep me calm, not even a single strip of salmon belly would ease the screaming hound inside me, yesterday was easily one of the most anxiety-filled of my howling days. Perhaps my excitement further burdened me because yesterday was Friday, the weekend was upon me and I have it all to save Termina.
February 13 was Majora's Mask 3D and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate's scheduled release in North America and Europe, I had my doubts if the Philippines' gaming market would follow NA and EU's release date or Japan's, so I was really uneasy the whole day yesterday. Readers of my blog would no doubt know that I enjoy Zelda (the game, not necessarily the princess) more than any other video game franchise, the fact that this is the first ever Zelda game that I pre-ordered only increased my anxiety on the date of its release. Since yesterday morning I kept two tabs open on my browser, one for i-Tech's page, and one for my news feed. I even went as far as turning on the buzzer of my mobile phone in case the kind staff at i-Tech informs me about the game's release.
So the day went by without any notifications. There was the general notification that Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D being released on the Philippine market around 12 noon but that might just be in the NCR area. The other stores were most likely waiting for the delivery. It wasn't until 4:45 in the afternoon when i-Tech notified me, and by the time I read their message, even if it was already late in the afternoon I knew I had to go at SM Calamba and get that copy of Majora's Mask with my name on it that very day. So, I did. My mom even went with me. The bad weather, heavy traffic, sheer number of people, and the fact that we rode the wrong jeepney going to SM Calamba didn't stop us from getting to the holy grail for that day.
We left the University around 6:15 in the afternoon, and arrived at i-Tech around 7:30, all just to get this gem:
beautiful
And what do I have to say about that?
YES! YES! YES!
I'm actually doing all of you a favor by being calm about this New Game post. If I made this yesterday I would have been incomprehensible as this post would be filled with screams, shouts and a monstrous language that would force Hugo Weaving to forever banish me from Rivendell (should I have been welcomed in the first place).

I've already played my first three stressful hours of the game (with a few breaks in between) because dang nabbit this game as a whole is a well-managed race against time. And with that creepy moon staring down at Termina (though I could have sworn he's looking at me, specifically) there's no time to stroll around sightseeing this glorious new world. Plus Deku Link is so adorable, to have that moon crush him would make me regret every decision I've made in my life.

Well that's it, I've said far too many things...I'mma play now! Gotta go!
