Ok I did some searching (alright just the first page of Google) and I seriously didn't find any significant definition for the term 'Poink'. According to Urban Dictionary it is the point when a person is about to sleep but is still technically awake. Given the definition it doesn't actually add to the context of the situation where the term was used in the following events. Anyway, if Poink has some kind of meaning I'm too innocent to understand and know about I apologize and please tell me what it really means.
So, Persona Q Part 7, ready?
The Group Date Cafe's Stop 2 took a step back in difficulty compared to the spikey inferno and all the masked boulders I had to suffer through back at Stop 1.
The new labyrinth mechanic introduced this time are the moving walkways - harmless but it does make exploration for a 100% map completion a tad difficult.
The shadows scattered throughout the labyrinth are almost the same as those of Stop 1. There's also the two questions of the day yet again:
Actually other than the moving walk ways only two other things makes Stop 2 unique: the featured FOE and the sub boss.
The featured FOE, though similar in design with just a different palette, is a little more lethal compared to Stop 1's FOE. Stop 2's FOE still remains in place and shoots an arrow at the party whenever they get in its line of sight.
However, instead of reversing the exploration controls, getting shot will trigger the actual "cupid effect" making the party "fall in love" with the FOE. For a set distance, each step they make after getting shot will be towards the FOE forcing a battle if the party's close enough when they get shot.
The sub boss in this floor is, well, I dunno see for yourself:
After expecting another group of enemies in a battle much like the one with the Idle Basalts back in Stop 1, I honestly didn't know what to feel when this "Gorgeous" King popped out. It's like a Smiley Face dressed for Thanksgiving. The sub boss battle was easier compared to the masked boulders back in Stop 1 thanks to my fire mongers Makoto, and my darling Yukiko. The only time the Gorgeous King gave me a hard time was when it used Evil Smile cursing Aigis and Zen & Rei. But overall the battle was pretty breezy.
Poinking
Stop 2 was a pretty short experience in terms of exploration. There weren't any big threats throughout the floor, it's just plain old dungeon crawling here and there. But what it lacked in challenge was given in full in events and requests. Enter "Poinking". It all started with Naoto's curiosity about Aigis.
The Detective Prince's amazement of the technology behind robo-waifu's design led to Aigis mentioning her ability to 'poink'. What it actually meant and what Aigis meant is beyond me. Some sources say that Poinking for Aigis is popping her head off because, well, she can. She's a robot so, yeah. A robo-waifu.
What followed is Rei's own understanding of poinking and everyone else's (save for Akihiko) reaction to her attempts at doing it. But seriously I have no clue what they're all talking about in the Stroll event. Maybe the punchline somehow got lost in translation?
It could be a humorous Japanese slang for something sexual seeing as "skirts and the heaven that's under it" is involved but the joke just probably didn't translate well in the west.
Arrest the Food Bandit!
There were quite a number of requests issued during the exploration of Stop 2. Finding the brazen thief of Chie's meat jelly is one of them. Chie, as fans of P4 would know, is the meat head of the P4 cast. She's kinda like a female Akihiko but she's definitely more likable. Anyway in the request Detective Prince, Naoto, wants to find out who the culprit is.
As the crime happened when the party was exploring the labyrinth the only suspects are the Velvet Room siblings and Marie, completely disregarding the whole NPC student population of Yasogami High. Naoto's investigation mainly relied on simple logic using three facts:

*gasp* is this the yuri we've all been waiting for |

- The culprit is lying,
- The culprit acted alone, and
- The others will tell the truth
Given the facts Naoto and Makoto (and by extension I) would only have to listen and reverse the testimonies of each of the suspects.
According to Theo, Elizabeth is the most likely culprit. He didn't even stutter while condemning her of the crime given all the bullying Elizabeth has done to the youngest sibling. Elizabeth on the other hand assures us that the culprit is a member of her family thus saving Marie of any suspicion but she made no effort in defending herself claiming that she's not afraid of what consequence awaits if she was to be found guilty.
Marie and Margaret's testimonies support each other even though they weren't together at the time of the theft.
So given the testimonies we were left with deducing who the real culprit is.

I'm just gonna skip on ahead to the real culprit - Theo. Wasn't expecting that, huh?
But Elizabeth's testimony states that the culprit is a member of her family. If that is a lie then Marie should be the real culprit. However, if Theo was lying then that would mean the rest of the testimonies given by Elizabeth, Marie and Margaret holds and they do not create any contradictions.
So *thud thud* Theodore Velvetine (I'm just making this up as I type) you are found Guilty.
So *thud thud* Theodore Velvetine (I'm just making this up as I type) you are found Guilty.
The choice of confronting the suspect actually falls to Makoto, though, since Naoto suddenly dashes off to make extra investigations. Theo initially denies the accusation but his tongue slips and solidifies his position as the culprit by mentioning the owner of the meat jelly, Chie. During their investigation Naoto never mentioned who was the owner of the meat jelly, yet Theo seems to know. So again *thud thud* Theodore Scarletina (I'm really just making this up as I type) you are found Guilty!
Theo eventually admits to the crime but he never meant to steal the meat jelly, his main intention was to cover up someone else's mistake. Chie originally left her meat jelly on a table so it'd be ready for gobbling up when the party returns from exploring. As the party entered Chie mentions that "whoever touches her meat jelly is a dead man". But as they were entering the labyrinth Yosuke unknowingly and accidentally knocked it off the table making a complete mess.
Theo overheard Chie's ultimatum to whoever separates her from her beloved meat jelly so, fearing for Yosuke's life, cleans up the mess and covers up the accident by making it look like someone stole the meat jelly.

The mess up was eventually resolved and the party as well as the four suspects still ended up sharing another piece of Chie's unpalatable meat jelly. All was well...until the next serving of punishment Elizabeth has in store for Theo.
Seriously though, Theo is a brave man for even attempting to frame Elizabeth.

Investigate a Rumor
This request is triggered while inspecting a certain part of Stop 2 during exploration. Yukari will notice something different about some ornament in the wall and wants to know more about it. It's a pretty easy mission. You just have to put Yukari in the party (a little under in level at this point) and just go back to the place where the request was made. That's it.
I guess the main challenge here is keeping Yukari alive seeing as she's at level 12 in an environment made for at least level 18's.

Koromaru vs. Kuma
During one of the breaks the party takes while exploring, Chie plays with Koromaru. Everyone suddenly jumps on the bandwagon and enjoys the presence of the Shiba Inu. My darling Yukiko suddenly spouts the names of Japanese historical figures such as Chosokabe Motochika and Yukimura. Gosh she's so beautiful. Look:
Just look at those glorious pixels!
Oh and today is just not Teddie's day:
Koromaru 1 - Teddie 0
