So after more than two years of being "Inukami's Journal" I finally thought of a more interesting title that I actually have trouble pronouncing. Logic be thrown out the window daily.
Aside from doing the normal humanly functions and other engaging tasks to keep myself from crossing the river between life and unlife I spent the last 24 hours thinking of a new title for the blog. 'Inukami's Journal' has always been a placeholder to what I really wanted to call this blog, I just didn't know what yet two years ago. So I went from Inukami's Journal to INK. Archives to INK. Blot Archives to The Silent Protagonist to, finally, INK. ARCHMST.
As to why I changed it so suddenly? Well it's thanks to this book:
I wanted to wait until I've finished the book before posting anything about it but great goddesses of the 1980s THIS.FRIGGIN.BOOK. I love it. I'm still just at chapter 12 but I love it. It is indeed a page turner. One that I held on my hands for two straight hours while in front of my beloved laptop. That's a big deal. Only my 3DS ever came close to coming in between me and my laptop. Good lord this book is giving me literary orgasms. Sh*t I'm rambling and fan girling too much. Kyaaah!
My favorite chapter so far is chapter 9 where Art3mis entered the story. Her dialogue, how Parzival described her, her demeanor, her attitude, good lord a text-based waifu! I can't help picturing Raven and Yang (from RWBY), with short hair of course, after Parzival's steaming hot description of her.

I also noticed some pages have markings on them. I read that Ready Player One has its own Easter Egg "elaborately hidden" within the pages of the novel and that whoever discovers it first would win a prize from the author, Ernest Cline. Someone already won the DeLorean though but I'm still stoked to find out what this easter egg is without consulting the web.
A-ahem. Anyway. I recommend this book especially to those who grew up under the influence of 1980s pop culture. It's heavy on video game, movie and TV series references of that era. Gamers, like me, in particular will definitely enjoy this...this...this materialization of nerdgasm!
Welp, my productivity is down the drain this Friday.
Gotta go!
